Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
This new joiner will report directly to the Regional Merchandising Manager (Textile) of Buying and Planning with the on-job trainings in 2 major areas:
1. Asia Underwear Integration as his/her Key project
The learnings would be/but not limited to:
- Assortment Merchandising: Own the category as a Merchandising Executive and experience the full merchandising cycle from line planning to order placement to retail launch
- Regional exposure: Collaborate with markets across Asia and assist the Regional Merchandising Manager to work on the Asia selection via product reviews / pricing / analysis
- Process & System: Participate Salesforce integration of Underwear to learn the order taking process flow in Lacoste as a global brand
- Operation: Liquidate existing UDW inventory in Singapore warehouse via monitoring outlet performance of the category in the markets
2. Merchandising Support on Textile / Footwear/ Leather Goods
- Documentation preparation like collection book creation / Assortment clustering
- Merch system maintenance like Rosario selection / PLM update
- Market consolidation
Desired Skill Sets
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, be a good team member
- Willing to learn, goal oriented, able to work under pressure
- Sensitive to the market and products
- Proficient in PC application SAP, MS Office & Excel (Vlookup and PivotTable)
- Good command of both spoken and written English, not necessary for Chinese, but French speaking will be a plus
- Internship or fresh graduate will also be considered
