The responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Manager include:

• Planning, budgeting and implementation of marketing strategies for the assigned trade fairs and conferences, in coordination with the Project Managers.
• Conducting media research, planning and execution of promotional campaigns.
• Planning and execution of visitor and exhibitor promotional advertising and PR campaigns.
• Development of event websites and provision of regular and timely updates.
• lanning and organisation of press conferences, press trips and media events for the assigned events.
• Assistance in the management of all assigned marketing budgets.
• Management of external supplier networks (including PR and creative agencies, production houses and market research consultancies).
• Preparation of evaluation reports on PR and advertising campaigns.
• Negotiations with suppliers, partners and customers.
• Communicating with internal and external customers on marketing requirements & fulfilment.
• Account servicing with multiple customer touch points and many hours of customer face-time for negotiation of media plans/ contracts, pitching/ selling of ideas and fulfilment of contracted marketing services.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Assistant Marketing Communications Manager.

Applicants must possess the relevant diploma/tertiary education and be IT savvy, with a proficiency in MS Office applications. Applicants should be able to speak English, Mandarin & Cantonese and knowledge of written traditional Chinese is essential.

Willingness to travel, high flexibility and determination to achieve goals within set deadlines is required.

This position requires an energetic, hard working and extremely organised individual who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, good negotiation skills and customer service.

The role will report to the Project Managers in charge of respective projects.
