Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

Based on Hong Kong and covering multiple markets, you will work with a team of seasoned professionals within the company to integrate qualitative, quantitative and technology-based solutions to address business issues in multiple industries. You will work in partnership with existing clients as well as develop winning proposals to grow the business.

JOB PROFILE

  • You will manage research projects independently by working closely with the project teams.
  • You will deploy a combination of qualitative, quantitative & digital research methods to achieve your research goals & objectives.
  • You will deliver insights and business strategy recommendations to clients in the form of impactful reports, presentations and workshops.
  • You will develop long term client relationships for an ongoing stream of business.
  • You will coach and develop junior researchers.
  • You will support in major bid/proposal design, and also participate in the design and implementation of new sales and marketing initiatives.
  • You will contribute to the development of innovative research solutions to meet clients’ needs.
  • You will work as a team in delivering revenue and gross margin targets.

INCUMBENT PROFILE

  • University graduate preferably in Business, Marketing, Social Science, Statistics, Psychology or relevant disciplines
  • At least 7 years of market research experience from agency and/or client side
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing Research in Hong Kong, Greater China region
  • Experience of conducting research in APAC markets a plus
  • Proven experience with identifying new market opportunities using a combination of qualitative, quantitative and/ or digital research tools
  • Proven track record of strong engagement with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong ability in writing winning proposals and insightful reports, and delivering presentations
  • Motivated self-starter who embraces new ideas and enjoys working in a vibrant and fast-growing team
  • Excellent team building and relationship skills
