Job Description

 

This is a great opportunity with a global Agency, based in Hong Kong, working on one of the world’s leading blue chip consumer brands. Red Fuse is a new model communication agency which handles all the client’s communication needs including all the digital touch-points and TVC's, all across Asia.

 

Background

Red Fuse is striving for operational excellence, to stay ahead of the curve and do the best for our clients. The Operations team is responsible for driving this change and ensuring the smooth operations and functioning of the agency: From managing the agency’s scope of work and resources, implementing new processes, overseeing budgets, and project management.

 

Major Roles and Responsibilities

The Project Manager reports directly into the Operations Director, supporting all the agency operations teams.

 

Project Management:

  • Lead IMC campaign projects effectively, utilizing waterfall/ agile/ hybrid methodologies
  • Define project plans and project teams
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Manage timelines effectively, escalation of project risks
  • Effective communication of project status to internal stakeholders, across different levels
  • Delivery of projects on time, on budget, and of high quality

 

Production budget:

  • Ensure proper budgeting and cost management across projects and timely billing of jobs
  • Monitors ongoing spends against budget maintaining production budget tracker
  • Escalation of under/over spends

 

Scope of Work:

  • Track changing scope of projects, managing scope tracker
  • Track utilization of hours across resources on projects

 

Project Planning and Resourcing:

  • Review and work with Operations Director and cross functional leads to identify resource gaps based on project status and rollout plans
  • Internal process and billing systems: Ownership of internal tracking systems (resources, timesheets, and billing)
  • Production: Support Operations Director and Production in new ways of production exploration, with clear organisation on production related documents and needs (legal, vendors, quotes, spends etc. )
  • Proactive in collaborating with relevant team members across departments and functions
  • Monthly reporting to clients on scope of work, resourcing and budgets

   

Qualifications and Experience

  • BA/BS degree 3-4 years experience in a digital agency, or of similar nature
  • Experience in project management or account management delivering projects in creative, strategy, production and technology a plus
  • Experience with Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid methodologies
  • Experience with PMO tools: Netsuite, Trello, JIRA, Microsoft Project or the like, creating project timelines, GANTT charts
  • Experience with marketing communications media (TV/video, digital, web, retail, social, mobile, print, etc.) and digital landscape (search, display, websites, digital ecosystem, etc.) and production (video, website, print, content etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to operate effectively with ambiguous and incomplete data
  • Solution-driven, able to foresee problems and find opportunities to resolve any issues or challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
  • Independent worker, ability to lead projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Team building skills; ability to energize and inspire
  • Innovative; interested and has the ability to approach things differently and support new business initiatives and processes
  • Fluent verbal and written English essential; other Asian languages desirable
