Responsibilities:

• Source/buy programmes from global distributors.
• Screen and evaluate programmes potentially suitable for acquisition.
• Negotiate with distributors, issue and proof read contracts.
• Undertake programmes research through reading different trade magazines and newspapers.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder with at least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in programme acquisition and/or programme sales.
• Experience in buying and/or selling programmes, familiar with the global TV markets, knowledge on broadcast rights, familiar with history and international current affairs.
• Able to negotiate and deal with distributors independently.
• Strong passion in the media industry. Self-motivated, hardworking and be ready to take challenge and work long hours.      
• Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and proficiency in Chinese Word Processing is a must.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese,proficiency in Putonghua is a MUST.
• Candidates with less / more experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Programme Acquisition Executive /Senior Programme Acquisition Executive.
