Responsibilities:

• Proofread, edit news stories and select topic.
• Organize broadcasting menu of daily news programmes.
• Assist in news broadcasting along with Production Department.
• Liaise with other departments in supporting news programmes production.
• Assist in idea generating and content creation for new media platform.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Finance / Journalism / Communication.
• Minimum 5 years financial / editorial / journalistic experience, TV experience is preferred.
• Familiarize with production of International news / Chinese news / Financial news.
• Accurate, detail-minded and able to work under pressure on shift.
• Able to react tactfully to emergency circumstances.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is a MUST.
• Experience in new media industry is a definite advantage.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Deputy News Editor.
