Job Description

The Training Officer position supports the Commercial Excellence team in defining, developing and coordinating the deployment of Sales Enablement activities and Learning Solutions that strengthen the skills of Sales and Commercial employees. This position is directly report to Commercial Excellence Lead. You will work with business leaders to create SFE & training strategies that are in line with the business needs and deploy them to the organization. You will also have an opportunity to participate in the design and deployment of regional SFE & training initiatives in partnership with our Regional Commercial Excellence team.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and deliver training interventions based on strategic choices of the business and needs of the organization
  • Evaluate the tools of learning process in order to maximize individual and group performance
  • Conduct training needs analyses and assessments in partnership with the business leadership team
  • Prepare annual training budget
  • Develop and organize training materials
  • Align with Regional Commercial Solutions Strategy and assist Commercial Excellence Lead to roll out all company’s in-house training program such as FF Selling Skill, Manager Coaching Skill or Leadership Skill Training
  • Responsible for building people for soft skills such as selling skills, leadership skills etc. in developing an adaptive and competitive organization and ensure high quality training delivery in Hong Kong & Macau
  • Provide appropriate coaching and education to people in Commercial Solutions Department on training activities to maximize business results
  • Support any ad hoc tasks or projects in the Department 

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or related disciplines
  • At least 2 to 4 years of training experiences for selling skills
  • Working experiences at pharmaceutical/medical/life science industry will be an advantage
  • Team oriented, analytical and highly organized
  • Must be able to influence people
