Job Description
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for handling clinical-related issues, internal and external, for Align Technology in China. Responsibilities fall in four broad categories but may not be limited to:
- Work closely with clinical evidence manager and lead some projects such as training, event, proofreading as assigned.
- Coordinate clinical study projects, full support to national or global projects and assures successful conduct of assigned projects.
- Contributor or review of clinical content of doctor education/marketing materials and internal clinical evidence materials.
- Coordinate Clinical Training (internal) – Establish and oversee internal clinical education (to Align employees), in particular Clinical and Sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate day to day tasks within Clinical department.
2. Provide clinical feedbacks to research project and new product launch to improve products.
- Obtain & maintain appropriate knowledge level of employees on products and process through employee training & development
- Coordinate Clinical Training (internal) – Establish and oversee internal clinical education (to Align employees), in particular Clinical and Sales.
- Full support education team to localize regional and national education plan.
- Work with local KOL and speaker in the development of publications that can be used by AT as case studies
- Coordinate clinical studies and projects, full support national or global projects as well.
- Collaborate with marketing on building an influential clinical evidence plan to help clinicians understand, accept and recommend Invisalign – including differentiation among brands.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with current and future thought leaders in academic and clinical practice at the local, regional and national level.
- Develop the foundational data for medical and scientific marketing/product material including promotional pieces, technical sales aids, etc., in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Provides project Coordination and assures successful conduct of assigned projects.
- Experience in publication planning and familiarity with good publication practices.
- Spend approximate 10-20% working time to travel and support local education events, customer visit.
Additional responsibilities:
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree of dentistry. Master's degree or a certificate in orthodontics or prosthodontics.
More than 1-year team leader or management experience is an added advantage.
Fluent in English
More than 4-year experience as a clinical specialist or 2-year Sr. Specialist, or equivalentexperience with full of Ortho clinical & product knowledge.
WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS
The normal work hours and days assigned to this position are: Mon-Fri 9:00am to 6:00pm.
