You will be responsible for producing and running high quality events for readers of the company’s business publications. This role will see you responsible for duties including speaker acquisition and liaising with our senior level delegates, managing sponsors, marketing to our readership base, managing our database and assisting in running our small scale events and major award shows. You will also be in charge of writing any articles that feature our events in our publications.

You will be an excellent communicator and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be able to quickly learn and understand the industries we cover. You need to be comfortable speaking with senior level individuals from Fortune 500 companies.

Experience as an event manager or event producer is desirable, but candidates with comparable experience will be considered as well. In addition to your strong communication skills, you are eager to learn more about event management, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Possess degree in Marketing/Business/PR/Events Management/English

•  Minimum 3 years event management / event production experience

•  Superb written and oral communication skills in English and Cantonese

•  Strong co-ordination skills dealing with event logistics

•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, details minded, well organized

•  Multi-tasking, efficient, independent, responsible and humble

•  Must be self-motivated, good team player, mature, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

•  Applicants should be a Hong Kong citizen

•  Immediate Available is highly preferred
