Key Responsibilities 

Production Planning

• Conduct material and production planning and implementation for all current and new projects in adherence with material standard and regulations
• Consolidate incoming order and plan production schedule, conduct takt time and cycle time calculation per production
• Ensure adherence to production schedule to customer order
• Work with internal stakeholders and related parties in identifying suitable material suppliers
• Monitor the full-cycle of vendor relationships including and not limited to, material procurement process, contractual agreements, pricing etc
• Prepare and gather accurate production data; timely escalation of production reports
• Ensure materials, workforce, machine capability and all related resources are ready as and when required and able to meet delivery obligation
• Carry out consistent production site inspection with QC to ensure product quality check is performed in a timely manner

Production Plant Operation

• Prepare production equipment and supplies for execution of customer order in   adherence to safety protocol and respective guidelines
• Handling and observing of chemical mixing and dispersing; conducting record samples at designated time to ensure consistent quality output
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area
• Ensure frequent equipment maintenance and identify areas of malfunctions, repairs and improvements
• Perform regular production calibration and equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Identify and report safety concerns and irregularities to immediate Manager
• Calculate total production costs needed per run and monitor production cost variance
• Provide weekly/monthly reports (e.g. inventory report, defect rate report, production capability report, machinery reports etc), reviews and summary to immediate Manager (as requested)
• Ad-hoc production assistance or support to internal teams or participation in company-wide projects

Warehouse and inventory Management   

• Contribute to waste management program
• Receive, accept and record of incoming materials
• Manage the storage environment and location of each storage area
• Perform ongoing analysis of inventory and storage data to meet site procedures and deliverables
• Actively follow all site house housekeeping procedures.

Qualification/Requirements 

• Degree in related field is preferred, Certificate or Diploma in Chemical Technology, Material Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years or more experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in manufacturing site work with operating equipments
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese; Written English and Chinese is a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, and Project)
• Relevant driving license
