This is a key role that reports to the Head of Finance and acts as a change agent to enhance the accounting and financial system while carrying out the accounting function effectively. The responsibilities include: 

• Manage and produce a full set of accounts, month-end and year-end management reports, annual budgeting and financial analysis
• Maintain sound internal control and effectiveness in financial accounting
• Manage bank accounts and forecast of cash flows
• Support annual statutory audit and audit for fundraising events
• Develop and implement process improvement within Finance and with other Functions to increase efficiency

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with a degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Minimum 8 years of solid experience in accounting with analytical skills and good attention to details
• A good team player who is committed and self-motivated and have a can-do attitude
• Mature and independent, with a capacity to work on tight deadlines with great sense of integrity and responsibility
• Proficient in Excel and sound knowledge in using accounting software
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
• Knowledge of best practice in finance and accounting operation a definite advantage
