Job Description

Job Duties

  1. Planning, organising, taking part in and/or making arrangements and co-ordinations for classes and activities targeting hearing impaired students and their family members;
  2. Handling enquiries and reviewing applications for the organisation’s free hearing aids programme;
  3. Assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns and fundraising events;
  4. Handling liaison work and regular communications with the organisation’s service users, beneficiaries, volunteers, tutors and other working parties;
  5. Where necessary, assisting and/or taking part in the community outreach services of the organisation, such as hearing health seminars and hearing screenings;
  6. Working closely with the Project Officer and other staff of the organisation in order to carry out the duties and execute the service tasks as required under the organisation’s various projects;
  7. Handling administration tasks and any other duties as may be reasonably required by the organisation from time to time;
  8. May be required to work occasionally outside normal office hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.


Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least one year working experience;
  • Excellent execution and organisation skills;
  • Patient, passionate, able to work under pressure and tight deadline;
  • An independent worker and a good team player;
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking;
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;
  • Proficiency in PC operations (MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing)
