Responsibilities:

• Plan and direct purchasing, sub-contract manufacturing and warehouse activities.
• Daily monitoring of MRP system and reporting of business performance.
• Ensure department achieves on time delivery objectives and remains within budget.
• Negotiating annual component pricing.
• Proactive cost reduction activities.
• Continuous improvement of supplier performance.
• Other planning duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in using a modern MRP/ERP system.
• Experience in a busy purchasing department.
• Good planning, organizing and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and interpersonal skills.
• Assertive and tenacious attitude.
• Excellent and accurate computer skills.
• Enthusiastic team player but also capable of working alone.
• Well organised, self-motivated and results oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to maintain a sense of humour whilst working under pressure.
• Willing to travel to UK or USA for training when required.
