Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily settlement operations for securities and futures contracts, including trade transactions matching, day-end procedures, daily stock reconciliation and unsettled deals, CCASS and DCASS operations, report distribution, client statements preparation;
• Handle Clients’ fund in and out;
• Assist in IPO application, placement booking & settlement with placing agents, prepare all necessary documents to HKEX and placing letter to clients and brokers;
• Handle all clearing activities, including corporate action, entitlement distributions and physical scrip collection;
• Participate in evaluating system enhancements, UATs and projects;
• Responsible for account opening, document control and updating clients & stock master records;
• Liaise with RO and Account Department and communicate with external parties for operational and settlement matters;
• Responsible for conducting annual review of AML checking
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned. 

Requirements:

• Diploma or above, major in Business, Accounting or relevant qualifications;
• 2 years’ experience in settlement operations related to Securities and Futures brokerage, including experience in CCASS & DCASS operation; 
• less experience will consider as Assistant Settlement Officer
• Able to work independently under tight deadlines and time pressure;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Experience in system development testing is preferred;
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Immediate available is preferred
