Role description:

Reporting to the Head of Funding Asia, the person will be responsible for:

• Represent the group with external parties such as but not limited to banks, securities companies, insurances;
• Support operating entities across the regional to raise funds at an Op-co level;
• Advise countries on transaction structures;
• Review transaction documents in conjunction with internal lawyers;
• Participate in the regional team effort to board develop relationship with financial institutions across the region and develop new funding channels;
• Interact with rating agencies, prepare and/or review material for the same;
• Other tasks may be considered subject to the candidate aptitudes.

Requirements:

• Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or above degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics;
  • At least 10 years experience in either bank product team (capital market, syndication or structured finance), financial Institution group or in similar function in corporate treasury department;
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international financial markets and local currency funding schemes;
  • Experience dealing with rating agencies;

• Skills and Competences
  • Language: English (fluent), Chinese (Mandarin reading and writing), other Asian language a plus (Indy, Bahasa, Vietnamese or Tagalog);
  • Good computer skills included MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work independently;

• Capacity to prioritize;
• Travelling across the region 25% of the time;
• Immediate available is preferred.
