Responsibilities:

• Act as deputy for the Department Head to assist in supervision of the operations of the Department
• Lead and ensure teammates to comply regulatory requirement in relation to branch operations, selling and services
• Provide adequate support to branches and resolve branch issues on daily operations and services
• Formulate and update policies and procedures in order to cope with new rules and regulations
• Assist in overseeing personal banking related project status
• Keep track of guidelines of regulatory bodies and ensure all jobs and projects performed are in line with the applicable rules and regulations
• Liaise with internal and external parties to develop and streamline workflow for cost and operational efficiency
• Follow up MIS reports on AML issues and approve specific high risk transactions for branches
• Handle regulation related branch complaint cases
• Assist in attending audit finding or non-compliance issues and recommend remedial action
• Arrange refreshing training to branch staff for compliance and regulatory updates
• Lead and perform ad hoc duties/tasks as and when required

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business or related discipline
• 8 years’ banking experience of which at least 3 years in branch supervision
• Familiar with rules and regulations governing banking operations and practices
• Strong communication, management and problem solving skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Conversant with MS Office Applications and Chinese Word Processing
