Our client is a renowned corporate bank, to cope with their business expansion, they are currently hiring ALM Manager to join their Risk team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Team Head in implementing and maintaining a consistent framework on interest rate and liquidity risk management and control process;
• Assist the Team Head in establishing and reviewing interest rate and liquidity risk policies in line with the group practices;
• Prepare, monitor and analyze interest rate and liquidity risk reports and ensure all exposures are properly captured in Fermat ALM system;
• Follow up and obtain proper approval from senior management and/or relevant risk committee for any risk limit excesses;
• Participate in system acceptance tests as assigned by the Team Head;
• Work with Head Office to roll out the behavioralisation models applied in measuring interest rate or liquidity risk;
• Review and analyze interest rate and liquidity risk associated with new products proposed by business units;
• Assist the Team Head in preparing presentation materials for monthly ALCO and quarterly RMC meetings; and
• Act as a backup for another ALM manager, who is on leave, as assigned by the Unit Head.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or relevant disciplines;
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in banking industry;
• Stable track record;
• Candidate with qualifications of CPA/ FRM / CFA candidate preferred;
• Strong analytical and report writing skills;
• Good knowledge in HKMA regulatory requirements; and
• Good communication and presentation skills.
