Senior / Project Quantity Surveyor – New Building Construction

Building Main Contractor based in Hong Kong are recruiting for Project Quantity Surveyor for their commercial department. Just awarded new project which construction has just began this quarter, our client are looking for stable candidates who will complete project from the start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost and variations estimates, interim payment applications and payment certification for subcontracts, materials and plants
• Interim and final assessment of payment for the contractor’s work
• Reporting to QS Manager to project progress to day to day work
• Contract administration, Commercial management of subcontractor’s accounts.
• Handle contractual issues, project planning and delay analysis.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• 8 years or above experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Chartered QS is preferred but no required
• Able to work independently
• Experience working for a Main Contractor previously
