This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing taxiway resurfacing works in airside
• Assist in budget and expenditure control of the works
• Perform daily site inspection, workmanship monitoring, quality control, testing and commissioning of the works
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to manage the works and ensure the works are conducted in a safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations
• Review and comment on contractors’ submissions including method statement, works programme, etc.
• Perform shift duties including overnight shift as needed

Requirements:

• Higher Certificate / Higher Diploma or above in Civil Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in supervision of civil construction works.  Degree holder with 4 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered
• Candidates without the above specified academic qualification but have 12 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered
• Solid experience in supervision of airfield pavement resurfacing/refurbishment works  would be an advantage
• Proactive, service oriented and be able to work independently
• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and organizing skills
• Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2)  is required
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.  Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage
