Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for product design, development and features enhancement;
• Plan and conduct product test;
• Work with test lab to resolve technical issues to meet international standards;
• Monitor project progress to achieve the planned schedule and report to management;
• Coordinate with contractors and manufacturers;
• Maintain design and production document according to the regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Skills:

• B.Eng. or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering or related discipline;
• Minimum 1 year of product development experience in biotechnology area;
• Working experience with luminescent materials or bio-imaging is a plus;
• Proficient in analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout;
• Experience in wireless or Bluetooth application;
• Strong project management and experimentation skills;
• Able to work independently and self-motivate;
• Familiar with programing language such as c++ and python etc;
• Proactive, independent and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of responsibility for completing tasks;
• Good command of both English and Chinese, both oral (including Putonghua in the latter case) and in writing, is a pre-requisite;
• Expert knowledge of scientific principles, concepts, analytical problem solving skills;
• Good team player, good communication and presentation skill;
• Candidate with less experience will also be considered as Engineer.
