A newly created role to lead the sourcing operations for new business initiative. This is a rare opportunity for candidates with solid experience to join a dynamic team of a reputable listed company in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate overseas brands/ suppliers for the assigned product category;
• Research product trends and consumer buying pattern to develop buying strategies;
• Build rapport and maintain excellent business relationships with brands/ suppliers for long term partnership;
• Perform contract term and pricing negotiation with brands/ suppliers;
• Assist in negotiating agent/ distributor agreement with brands;
• Work closely with operations, logistics and marketing teams to roll-out business plans;
• Act as key leader for the buying division setup to support substantial business growth.

Requirements:

• University graduate;
• Minimum 8 years solid relevant experience with at least 3 years at managerial capacity, exposure in HK/ China e-commerce market and cross border trade would be an advantage;
• Proven track record in FMCG/ personal care/ skincare/ beauty retail, wholesale or agent industry;
• Strong connections and networks with overseas brands and supplier;
• Strong product knowledge and is on top of local & international trends;
• Experience in setting up agency/ distribution arrangement with brands would be an advantages;
• Business driven with excellent negotiation and influencing skills;
• Team player, flexible and self-motivated;
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
