Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To assist the Education Manager promoting Society’s vision and mission through educational programs
- To help position SPCA for new opportunities and generate new education programs in line with the organization’s strategy
- Help to grow SPCA’s portfolio of education programs by analyzing market needs and gaps, and providing innovative ideas in the development of these programs
- To conduct educational talks, workshops in both English and Chinese for schools and other educational groups
- Contribute to the overall growth of the department by working with the Education Manager to develop program proposals and work collaboratively with the Development
- To liaise with parents, teachers so that they are empowered to use our developed resources - Humane Education as part of their curriculum materials
- To ensure excellent customer care at all levels for both internal and external users
- Help promote SPCA’s image as a pioneer and champion in Humane Education
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by the Education Manager
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Education Officer
Requirement:
- Degree holder or above in Education, Social Science and / or related discipline(with a Certificate of Education is an advantage)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in education program development, delivery and marketing
- Familiarity of local and international school systems
- Exposure in working with program sponsors, academics, professional communities, and school bodies
- Strong project management and budgeting skills
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to listen, influence, and negotiate when and where necessary
- Highly-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese; Putonghua skills preferred
- Creative, patient and a positive team player
- Genuine interest in education and the welfare of all animals
