The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is a statutory body established by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2008, responsible for developing the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Job title:          Project Coordinator, Venue Operations (Performing Arts)

Department:   Performing Arts

Duration:        1 Year

Location:     Xiqu Centre

Responsibilities:

• assisting the opening of a performing arts venue and all its related preparation works;
• coordination across departments for venue opening and other operations logistic issues;
• sourcing operations equipment and following up on the procurement process and equipment delivery;
• liaising with contractors, vendors and partners;
• providing administrative support; and
• handling ad-hoc assignments and projects as  requested.

Requirements:

• possess a recognised university degree in hospitality, tourism, performing arts or equivalent;
• have 2-3 years of relevant experience in performing venues, tourism and/or hospitality sector;
• have good knowledge of front of house operation;
• possess good analytical and numerical sense; and
• be proficient inspoken and written English and Chinese.
