Job Duties: 

• To manage daily import and export operation of finished garment to ensure the activity is properly and smoothly run
• To coordinate the delivery status of finished garment of both China and Hong Kong
• To perform data review and system checking to ensure all related information is complete and correct for shipment
• To prepare regular reports on current and pending import/export status
• To check, collect and consolidate daily shipment report from factories
• To supervise logistics staff to prepare the importing and exporting documentation on time
• To coordinate with factories for special arrangement of export cargos
• To arrange Certificate of Origin (C/O) for shipment if needed
• To study the guideline of new customers
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or their designate from time to time

Job Requirements:

• High Diploma or above in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related disciplines preferabl
• At least 8 -10 years relevant experience in shipping field of garment industry with 3-4 years’ at supervisory level
• Sound knowledge on HK, PRC and Regional import, export trade rules and custom clearance procedures
• Good understanding to the abilities and service standards of the freight forwarders,shipment carriers and major logistics companies in the market.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Familiar with using Tradelink, MS Office & Chinese Word Processing
• Past experience in using ERP to process the order and documents is a must
• Good command of English & Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin preferred
• Frequently travel to Dongguan factory is required
• Less experience will be considered as Senior Shipping Officer
