Job Description:

• Work closely with designers from our Mexico office to execute smooth product development process with factories
• Vendor management to ensure sampling, production, quality and delivery expectations are met
• Coordinate between factories, quality team and testing labs to follow up testing and quality issues
• Develop, execute sourcing and product development strategies
• Cost analysis and vendor negotiation
• Establish, ensure timelines and deadlines are met
• Maintain filing and documentation systematically
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor network
• Assist with showroom during toy fair
• Work independently and as a team member
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Form 7 or above
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in sourcing, product development, and merchandising with 5 years of experience in Licensed Plush.  Pet Products experience a plus.
• Strong project management and problem solving skills
• Strong product, material and costing knowledge
• Understand product development processes
• Familiar with retail distribution
• Up to date knowledge of quality and safety requirements for toys
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized and team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Willing to travel
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.  
• Immediate availability is preferred
