Key Responsibilities: -

• Provide fabric research in woven and knit for US & EU market;
• Perform fabric sourcing and maintain effective relationship with key vendors.
• Collaborate with Design teams for new fabric options and fabric development to meet business and technical needs, cost and quality requirements;
• Follow up and closely monitor with supplier fabric testing standards and reports;
• Follow up order processing (i.e. testing, pricing, delivery etc.);
• To ensure the delivery of materials & production is accurate & on time;
• Handle departmental meeting minutes & relevant documents (i.e. data input, analysis report.)
• Closely communicate with suppliers and internal teams for launching new fabric products.
• Following up on production schedule closely in order to ensure quality as well as on time delivery
• Consolidation of sales data and generation of statistic and trend reports.
• Assist in operational support including procurement, inventory control, quality control, product development & warehouse management, and BI data. 
• Monitoring closely and report international trends
• Participating in ad hoc duties assigned 

Skills and experience requirements: -

• At least 3 years' working experiences in merchandising and/or production development and fabric trend direction field;
• Strong marketing sense with excellent communication and analytical skills;
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
• Detail-minded, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline;
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
• Having past experience in textile/garment merchandising field is preferred;
• Good knowledge of Sourcing, sampling and following orders;
• Having experience of synthetic fibre is an advantage;
• Immediate available is an advantage
