Job description 

Hong Kong DBL Limited is seeking a Sales & Marketing Representative to assist with the creation of HKDBL Academy. HKDBL Academy which is opening in September 2019 provides basketball training in international schools in Hong Kong. The successful candidate would work closely with two American coaches coming to Hong Kong to assist with the promotion of the basketball training classes, to work closely with potential marketing vendors and international schools to liaise venue. This position would require being flexible, as the venue may move from time to time. 

Responsibilities 

- promote HKDBL Academy through social media channels/be the main point of contact for Sales and Marketing enquiries 

- promote HKDBL Academy to international schools in Hong Kong 

- assist coaches to ensure they are aware of the logistics and attendance for their classes 

- create a marketing road map 

- work closely with photographer/web designer to ensure all content on HKDBL Academy website is up to date and current

- any other ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

- Fluent in English and Cantonese 

- Previous experience in basketball administration (an advantage)

- Sales & Marketing Experience - 1 -3 years 

- Driver's License (an advantage)

- Understanding of international schools in Hong Kong (an advantage)

- Good team player

Hong Kong Developmental Basketball League (HKDBL) was created in May 17 to promote competitive, social  basketball in Hong Kong. 

Over the last year, we have continually run a Ladies Basketball Competition and are looking to expand for training for adults and starting friendlies and competitions with some of the international schools in Hong Kong.
