About GoBear

We don’t usually toot our own horn but (seeing as you might work here soon) we thought you might like to know GoBear is Asia’s first and only metasearch engine for financial products. We spend our days trying to figure out how to make comparing insurance and banking products as awesome as possible. Our happy place is where users don’t even have to think twice – they can choose a financial product that’s right for them and feel confident with their choice (we know that’s a nerdy happy place, but we can’t help what we love). We’re looking for people who break the mould; who’ve got a hankering to do something completely different. Obviously, we want our bears to be smart and hardworking but, more importantly, we want people on our team who love technology, who love their job, and who aren’t afraid to fail while trying something completely crazy. Oh, and if you have a chuckle while reading WYSIWYG, #companykarma, GSD and “If you don’t listen to your customers, someone else will.”, then you’ll fit right into the team.

Who’s who in the zoo?

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Content Manager is the key editorial content creator and distributor for Hong Kongs website, social pages, blog, e-newsletters and press releases.

What kind of fun will you get up to at GoBear?

• You’ll manage ongoing local content strategy in coordination with regional content and SEO strategy
•  You will write or commission content relevant to GoBear’s verticals to drive high organic traffic growth, lead generation and conversion
• You’ll support the marketing team with copywriting for campaigns
• You’ll collaborate with the business development team to produce sponsored content for partners and partner marketing campaigns
• You’ll create and maintain an active social media community on Facebook and Instagram to engage and lead users to GoBear
• You will ensure all content is fully compliant, delivered on time and in our approved authentic tone-of-voice
• You will monitor and evaluate content performance across major channels

Got skills?

• You have a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
• You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in content and communications management with a proven track record and existing portfolio to show
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Cantonese
• You are proficient in content management systems such as Drupal, Wordpress
• You have basic image editing and HTML knowledge
• You are familiar with tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, Socialbakers, SEO Monitor and AHREFS
• It would be good to have exposure in financial industry and knowledge of product and market trends
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
