Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for functions of purchasing, logistics and distribution, and customs clearance;
  • Lead the purchasing team to closely monitor the suppliers performance (quality and delivery) and ensure the purchasing orders management is running smoothly and efficiently;
  • Monitor, control, and continuously enhance and develop warehouse operations management;
  • Lead a team of logistics and warehouse to ensure smooth and proper operation of day-to-day supply chain functions;
  • Maximize JIT delivery performance, ensure the efficiency of order-processing and logistics operations, and drive continuous improvement in a cost-effective manner;
  • Accountable for the inventory to ensure the accuracy in value and quantity through inventory system, stock take, internal audit and inventory control reports;
  • Execute proactive purchasing and logistics control to alert the Management on alarming inventory conditions;
  • Work closely with related parties to facilitate coordination of activities and maintain good relationship with China customs;
  • Responsible to enforce and maintain customs, safety and security measures and procedures;
  • Perform ad hoc activities as required.

Qualification:

  • Degree/ Diploma holder in Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 12 years relevant experience with at least 5 years at managerial level in manufacturing environment (electronics industry is preferred);
  • Good component and product knowledge with proven record in handling electronics OEM projects in areas of purchasing, suppliers performance management and logistics control;
  • Knowledge of ISO9000, ISO14001/ OHSAS18001, TS16949 and EHS documents;
  • Familiar with China Customs regulations;
  • Result-oriented with strong leadership and able to work under pressure;
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and internal departments;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Station in China is required.
