The trims developer is primarily responsible for maintenance of trims library records and tracking of trim samples, lab dip and pricing.  Assist and support the Senior Developer to meet corporate deadlines from development till commercialization of new trim items.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with US teams and suppliers on objectives, expectations and processes to ensure trim development and sourcing objectives are achieved
• Assist in developing and supporting the trims artwork design using Illustrator
• Responsible for clear communication of specifications related to each trim item in order to achieve the most accurate and highest possible quality at development stage
• Coordinate and follow up the development of trim items and embellishments
• Monitor and track the lab dip status of trims
• Assure that trims, MOQ, pricing and testing meet the outlined targets and requirements
• Responsible for updating and maintaining accurate trims records and files, testing records and documentations for all trim items
• Understanding of regulatory issues, compliance to corporate branding, regulations and other standards
• Accountable for timely adherence of calendar dates as defined by the corporate calendar
• Perform ad-hoc projects or other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in related discipline (Fresh grads will also be considered)
  
• 1 - 2 years' experience in trims / garment related industry
• Basic trims knowledge including but not limited to roll goods, buttons, zippers, embellishments, etc.
• Highly organized, creative, attention to details and self-motivated
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.  A good team player
• Good command of written & spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
