Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the team head & take an active role in assisting with the daily merchandising duties from sampling to bulk shipment
• Responsible for all development processes from materials & trim sourcing, proto to salesmen samples are completed under the tight deadlines
• Responsible for costing, price and lead time negotiation with suppliers
• Identity potential issues before submitting samples to customers
• Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance & Quality Control team to ensure the product quality is up to the required standard and obtain inspection report
• Follow up closely on production schedule and ensure timely delivery
• Act as the bridge between European buyers and factories and fabric mills in China, Vietnam and other emerging markets
• Build up and maintain good relationship with key suppliers to deliver improved supply chain efficiently including greater flexibility, shorter lead times, re-engineering and margin improvements
• Source potential factory with right product and price

Requirements:

• University graduate or equivalent preferably in textile & clothing related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years’ experience or above relevant solid experience in woven shirts & blouses
  
• Experience in working with offshore factory
• Hands on individual and able to work independently
• Good communication skill, initiative, well-organized and attentive to details with high sense of responsibility
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook Express
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Occasional travel to Asian countries is required
