RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calendar management: To ensure adherence to seasonal calendar and work with other stakeholders to ensure conformance to all critical milestones
• Costing: To receive, analyze, negotiate and confirm costing with vendors. To work with Home Office (US) team to maintain costing conditions and work towards Gross Margin Improvement
• PO and WIP management: Work on SAP systems for internal PO management. To receive WIP from vendors and pre-empt and resolve any delivery/service issues
• Stakeholder Management: To work collaboratively with Material team, QA team and Logistics partner for proactive resolution of issues. To act as liaison between appointed manufacturing facilities and the Under Armour Hong Kong and HQ concerning all development and production related issues.
• Reporting: To assist/support in review the monthly reports, On-time delivery and capacity planning with manufacturing facilities.
• Vendor Training: To support SAP/PLM and other trainings to vendors to ensure smooth operation.
•         Other duties assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATION: 

• Polytechnic / IVE graduate in Merchandising, Garments, Textile or related discipline
• 8 years solid experience in sourcing apparel products preferably Team wear/Promo wear
• Experience in US/EU buying office is essential
• Effective oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese, proficient in Mandarin
• Analytical aptitude with advanced level Microsoft Excel skills needed – Knowledge of pivots, V-lookup, formulas, conditional formatting, graphs etc.
• Mature, independent, flexible, detail-minded, initiative, stable with good interpersonal and   communication skills
