Executive Summary:

Our client is a leading provider of information & communications technologies. Its service offerings include Application Solutions, Infrastructure, Networking and Outsourcing Services. With a strong focus in the government & public sector in Hong Kong, it develops very successful project references over the years. Due to succession planning, it is looking for a Senior Business Leader to manage in its government & public sector practice.

Major Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the management board
• Take a leadership role to develop the business division in the government & public sector
• Provide high level strategic business advice, formulate and implement sales plans
• Manage a team of sales specialists and presales consultants
• Identify and develop market opportunities and strategic alliances / channels
• Build strong business networks and long term relationship with customers
• Oversee the whole sales cycle from tender to delivery
• Maintain and control sales and marketing operation cost

Key Requirements:

• Business Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• At least 15 years of experience in direct sales management with a minimum of 7 years in a management position
• Established connections and contacts with government department
• Proven sales reference in government & public sector is a must, e.g. HKSAR, MTR, CLP, Towngas, HKJC etc
• Good government QPS experience is a must
• Good Bid Management experience is a must
• Proven sales success track record individually and in a sales leadership role
• Strong account development and management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and staff management skills in a sales operation
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
