Our client is a leading Garment Trading company focusing mainly the US market on middle to high end woven products.  This is an expansion headcount and also a succession planning role for their existing Sales Director.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of Merchandisers to enhance efficiency & build up relationships with customers
• Responsible for exploring sales opportunity and expanding business
• Conduct Preliminary price quotation & negotiation with customers
• Confirm the preliminary bulk fabric price, date with the PD and suppliers
• Assist in sales & marketing programs and activities
• Work very closely with Merchandising Team on orders follow-up, product quality and delivery arrangement related issues.
• Coordinate with factory to fine-tune the balance between requirements of client and actual technology of related factory.
• Liaise with the Product Development Team to assure the delivery of the new season collection is on time.
• Conduct sales forecast, planning and handle all analysis reports.
• Able to understand, analyze and response to the Profit & Loss of business.
• Holding pp meeting with factory.
• Handle and follow up quality issues.
• Arrange customer visits.
• Handle customer complaints or claim.
• Other assigned job from management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development & Account Management from a Garment Trading environment, with a strong focus on middle to high end woven products for US market
• Excellent presentation, communication and presentation skills
• Eager to learn, result-driven and independent with strong business sense
• High Proficiency in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• This role requires 2/3 days daily travel to Shenzhen per week with shuttle bus provided
