ESSENTIAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

-       In charge of the whole logistics operation and logistics team

-       Co-ordinate and manage the logistics team to facilitate business needs and to achieve business targets

-       Plans, implements, and control with the team to operate the flow of different resources between the point of origin to the point of consumption

-       Lead, coordinate and oversee the service of external providers such as forwarding, transportations, insurances

-       Compile and drive logistics process improvement

-       Manage and monitor performance for capacity planning, consolidation and optimization

-       Manage and monitor logistics cost optimization

-       Plan and Communicate with different vendors to keep the freight both in and out, documentations, duty and customs regulations in place and on track as per customer’s expectation

-       Verify import and export documents

-       Handle complaints and conflicts in terms of logistic issue

-       Plan and manage inventory figures and work with other teams to maintain min. stock level

-       Prepare and manage stock take

-       Prepare logistics reports

-       Support and report to Associate Customer Service Director to achieve and maintain high compliance level on logistics service

-       Outgoing duties and Business travelling may be required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-       At least 10 years solid working experience in international trade firm is needed

-       Rich Experience and knowledge of importation, warehousing and exportation

-       3 years in managerial grade

-       Strong leadership, good interpersonal skills and analytical mind to communicate with different levels of stakeholder

-       Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a must

-       Pro-active and able to work under pressure

-       Degree holder in Logistics Management or Business Management is preferred

-       Knowledge of ERP is a MUST, knowledge in Dynamic NAV is a definite advantage

-       Excellent command of computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
