Overall Purpose of the Job

This position is to directly generate revenue and drive new business/sales pipelines/explore opportunities/handle sales lead by managing sales meetings, building relationships, presenting recommendations for contract logistics/3PL business activities and work with inter-departments to deliver professional service level and be engaged to build a customer centric culture

Responsibilities

• Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for Warehousing / 3PL / added values solutions
• Developing and broadening relationship with existing customers while identifying and qualifying opportunities
• Manage contracts review & conduct regular business review to meet different KPI
• Work closely with support teams to identify and achieve continuous improvement program for the customers
• Collaborate with manager to ensure alignment with strategies in forecasting, business planning, and business pipeline development
• Continually prospect and qualify new customers, prepare and follow up quotations and generate sales leads
• Monitor and respond concerned parties to ensure positive customer experience delivery
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Customer visits with occasional travel to China (mainly South China)

Requirements

• Degree or above in Logistics or Supply Chain management or related discipline
• At least 5 years business development experience, and  preferably in 3rd party logistics / contract logistic field
• Good understanding of company contract logistics / added values capacities
• Effective presentation and customer relations skills
• Good problem solving and negotiation skills
• Sales driven character
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
