Job Description
Operations Excellence (Sr) Director, Asia
Our client, a leading global Logistics organization, is expanding their winning team, they seek an exceptional Operations Excellence (Sr) Director, Asia with a strong technology mindset to lead the next phase of their growth.
Asia ( Shenzhen based)
Responsibilities:
- Drive results by leveraging continuous improvement tools, consulting skills, and change management processes across the organization such as operational and transactional processes for demand, supply, G&A, product development, quality assurance and customer service.
- Be the thought leader and build a great team to deliver Asia customer-oriented scalable improvements from design to implementation; work with the leadership team to drive execution of key initiatives, policy deployment, strategic planning, benchmarking and best practices.
- Develop measurement and tracking system for all programs and projects from inception to delivery, including a communication cadence of status, cross-functional dependencies, and proposing options to mitigate risks and drive critical path issue resolution.
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide expert counsel on appropriate tools or processes to eliminate them
- Lead the operation enablement function to develop standardised, effective learning and training programs for operations
- Develop data analytic capabilities to establish performance KPIs and support strategic planning for Asia business
Requirements:
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations
- Ability to design, develop and implement continuous improvement roadmap for operating business
- Excellent communication, project management, consulting, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in product development process
- Ability to work with all levels in the organization to initiate and drive change
- Demonstrated ability to improve business results through sustainable continuous improvement
- Min. 10+ years of consulting experience preferably with exposure to supply chain or logistics industry
