Expeienced Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist for a uprising fashion brand

My client, an uprising fashion brand is looking for a Experienced Logistics Specialist  to join their newly set up office in Hong Kong. 

The brand has been doing well globally and adored by many celebrities and KOLs. They have entered APAC market and launched in Hong Kong last year with a massive APAC expansion following. My client has a very open-minded and people-oriented working environment. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking for a step up in their career within a growing company.  The right candidate should have at least 2-4 years in global Supply Chain & Logistics experience. You would be responsible for assisting with all logistics requirements. This includes ensuring documentation processing accurately, preparing all necessary key milestones as specifying by Customer Standard Operating Procedures, product shipment and managing 3rd party vendor. This role will cover all activities related to the movement of products of Asia Pacific Region.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to business partners as required
•   Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, PODs, etc.) as specified by Customer Standard Operating Procedures
•   Deal with imports and exports shipped to and from the company; work with customs officials to ensure compliance
•   Experience in managing 3 party vendor:
•   Measurement of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
•   SLA’s (service level agreement) negotiations
•   Monthly business reviews to discuss process improvements and work on performance trends
•   Inventory management
•   Responsible for inventory accuracy through yearly physical inventories and weekly cycle counts
•   Inventory analysis — Active / Disco; management of ideal stock holding position and management of QA and quarantine units
•   Packaging material inventory management
•   Activity forecast across all related channels
•   Responsible for all 3PL activities within agreed KPI’s
•   Outbound
•   Inbounds
•   Returns
•   Transport: Courier performance management
•   Support all facets of the logistics area as directed by management

Experience, Education and Designations:

•   2-4 years of business experience, preferably dealing with inventory movement
•   Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma
•   Supply Chain Certification of some type an asset
