Our client, an alternative investment company, is looking for a candidate for their Maritime Asset Management Department.

Candidates don't necessarily have to obtain 100% relevant experience, candidates with accounting principles and experience in the finance industry will be considered!

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate is expected to assist the department head in:

• Managing shipping portfolios by preparing reports to management and co-investors;
• Conducting research in alternative investment products (such as tax-based leasing) for third parties (shipping companies);
• Communicate/ negotiate with lenders/ investors
• Conduct loan/investment documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• Several years of working experience in the finance industry;
• Knowledge in accounting principles;
• Proficient in English;
• Proficiency in Japanese or Mandarin is an advantage;
• Experiences in financing is a huge advantage;
• Strong analytical skills.
