Job Responsibilites

1. Manage PCBA boards and kits manufacturing:

• Interface with in-company technology teams for board design handover
• Kits build plan, execution and follow-up :  handle RFQ, raise build PO and components/packaging sourcing.
• Manage CEM and component suppliers for board production

2. Kits production test flow:

• Create board specific manufacturing tests to ensure CEM production quality - from simple LED/button/loopback test to complex functionality (e.g. USB audio, mic arrays) tests with assistance from engineering teams.
• Assist CEM to debug test failures or unusual behaviour

3. Failure analysis and RMA support

• Coordinate and drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams
• Manage corrective actions/NCR process implementation
• Documentation and generate 8D report

4. Miscellaneous: 

• WEEE scheme (ecosurity.com) statutory reporting
• Compliance testing (CE etc) as applicable

Requirement

1. Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

2. Able to think of test cases and customer usage model that may violate the assumptions of designers

3. Excellent coding/scripting skills (C/C++/Python, Perl, TCL etc) with application to test automation and data analysis platforms

4. Experience in lab setup and maintenance. Knowledge on Electronics Lab equipment

5. Good organizational skills and ability to develop hardware design specification based on input from  multiple stakeholders and specifications

6. Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination skills

7. Experience in designing schematics and PCB layout, system level knowledge of CPU/SoC, Memories, Power and signal conditioning circuits is an advantage
