About the Role

The Quality Control Technician will mainly be responsible for product testing  and quality assurance of Well# smart water refill station in terms of mechanical and electronic aspect throughout the product life cycle. This Quality Control Technician will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, project coordination team, I.T. team and laboratory, etc. He/she will stay in dynamic environment throughout the product development and servicing cycle and perform quick response to any technical and non-technical issues.

The Quality Control Technician will plays a critical role in partnering with Product Development Team and Client Experience Team in driving product and services excellence. The position will report directly to the Product Development Director.

Key Responsibilities 

• Responsible for OQC, IQC and QA of products and components
• Perform product performance tests and control logic tests in new product development stage
• Handle internal testing and product refurbishment for pre-installation quality assurance
• Conduct trouble shooting of all kinds of quality issues, including mechanical, electronic and control algorithm
• Provide support on quality report and procedure preparation
• Support inventory operations
• Preform field service of product maintenance

Desired experience and skills

• Secondary 5 or above
• Candidate with certificate in IT, Engineering, Quality Assurance or related subject is preferred
• At least 3 years of related QC or troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of international quality standard is preferred
• Occasional travel to China factory is required
• Fair English and Mandarin language skill
• Self-motivated, proactive and positive attitude
• Excellent time management skills. Strong sense of responsibility
