Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and manage progress of all types of insurance claims efficiently, especially cargo claims and ensure speedy settlement of all claims.
• Checking relevant documents received from parties concerned
• Provide insurers with all documentation and information required for the settlement of claims and liaise with clients as necessary
• Prepare claims reports and statistics and attend claims meetings as required
• Assist in any ad hoc project as required

Requirements:

• University graduate
• Candidate with ACII or NZIIF or IIHK Diploma in Insurance Studies is an advantage
• At least 3-5 years' experience, preferably in handling insurance claims. Experience in Marine Insurance will be an added advantage
• Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Claims Executive depending upon the experience
• Responsible, self-motivated, proactive with eye for details
• Capable to communicate with all levels and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Good organizational skill, meticulous and able to work independently and under pressure
• Detail oriented, organized with proficiency in using MS Excel, problem-solving and able to meet deadlines and deliver a high standard of service
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin (preferable)
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
