Job Description
An opportunity to get your foot into the door of an international life insurance company growing in Asia. The opportunity will be to be a key player in the valuation team in support the IFRS17 implementation and provides advisory and technical support to enhance and streamline valuation model and processes.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the team in the preparation for the IFRS17 new financial reporting standard
- Responsible for the preparation of the Quantitative Impact Study of Risk Based Capital
- Participate in the assumptions setting for actuarial reserving and financial projection
- Be part of the valuation processes to ensure compliance with local regulatory regimes, internal company guidelines and SOX requirement
- Participate in enhancing the efficiency of valuation and financial projection processes as to provide timely and quality financial analysis to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science or related discipline
- Excellent analytical skill, team player and willing to learn
- Experience in using Excel and Access
- Experienced in using of Actuarial software such as Prophet
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
