Job Description
Exciting new opportunity to work in a growing international life & GI insurance company. This is an experience position to hire an actuary to work closely with the pricing and product development team.
Responsibilities
- Be part in the product development process including product design, profitability testing, implementation and product approval, ensure the compliance with company’s risk management policies and actuarial guidelines
- Assist in the new partner acquisition and existing partner management via financial assessment of business case, working closely with marketing and business development team
- Perform financial analysis to review the profitability of product and business campaign
- Lead and provide coaching to junior staff in performing business analysis, building projection models and performing UAT for system upgrade/implementation
Requirements
- Degree holder in actuarial science
- At least 5 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry
- Experience leading a team and training junior staff
- Proficient in Excel and Access
- Experienced in using of Actuarial software especially in Prophet
- Fluency in English
- Strong team player, solid communication skills, a problem solver and strong in analytical skills.
