Job Description

This position will report to the Head of Supplier Quality Management located in Hong Kong to support the formation and implementation of best practice of quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and drive the operational and product quality performance of external suppliers.

 

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Identify and establish supplier quality development roadmap, milestones and implementation plan
  • Assess and improve suppliers’ capabilities to meet required product quality and compliance
  • Drive supplier quality improvements and develop suppliers’ partnership by working closely with sourcing and technical team
  • Initiate and drive benchmarking studies to determine best practices and industry trends/norm
  • Prepare supplier development progress report and present to management

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree holder or above in Quality Management or Engineering related
  • Minimum 8 years of key role in supplier management experience
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt Certified is an added advantage
  • Solid experience in Product Life Cycle Management and APQP or DFSS
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent effective communication and change management skills
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua both verbal and written
  • Able to frequent travel
