Duties/Responsibilities 

The retail/ fashion merchandiser will take ownership of all merchandising duties associated with our retail stores, e-com platform and selected wholesale accounts. He will work closely with the buyer/ designer to generate product cards, issue orders and allocate inventory to our stores internationally. He will monitor store VM reports, sales reports, generate weekly replenishment orders, and issue the pick list for shipping. He will also be responsible for any aftersales operations associated with product. This ranges from alterations, damages and returns. In order to fulfil the objectives of the role, he will be an expert at understanding product and collections and be a valuable point of contact for the brand.

The Role 

The retail/ fashion merchandiser will generate product cards on our ERP software, issue orders, plan stock allocation and report effectively on product performance and after sales operations. As he will be allocating inventory to stores, he is required to spend time on the floor to study the collection, study the VM and optimize the selling potential. There will be day to day communication with all stores.

The retail merchandiser is responsible for the following:

• Create and manage product cards
• Issue orders for Production
• Manage merchandising plan
• Manage replenishment plans to ensure that sales are optimized and store are without missing skus
• Prepare and analyse sales and stock reports
• Monitor store VM
• Manage aftersales services from HQ level
• Be a fabulous member of the team

The Profile

• Passionate about fashion and all things luxury
• Extremely organised with strong detail to attention
• Strong interest in the luxury industry as a whole
• Familiar with forecasting software, ERP systems and strong Excel skills
• Communicates effectively and professionally
