Retail Sales Consultant

Key responsibilities

-          Performs duties related to daily sales operation, customer services, stock maintenances and control

o    To provide a clean and safe shopping environment at all time

o    Dress in full uniform when you’re on duties on the sales floor i.e. name badge

o    Performs a positive and polite manner at all time i.e. greeting (walk-in customer / telephone pick up); body language; till point manner etc

o    To follow daily opening and closing procedure i.e. ensure the accuracy of daily cash flow by inputting and signing off the cash flow control form; complete the day end report by following the company’s procedure

o    To ensure reports on all incidents happened on the sales floor to the superior

o    To deal with customer enquiry and able to handle complaints in a polite and professional manner at all time

o    Able to liaise with other department in email / fax / telephone / documents

-          Performs stock maintenances and control

o    Check quality of products and make sure are in a saleable condition before display on sales floor

o    Unpacking, quality inspection, verify count and reporting issues for all incoming /outgoing stock i.e. including shop replenishment, customer order (collection in store), inter-store transfer, back to warehouse stock etc.

o    Check all sold/ transfer item to ensure the item are in a good condition with proper wrapping material before sending/deliver to other location

o    Performs daily replenishment, and verify count of all incoming / outgoing goods i.e. shop replenishment; transfer stock to warehouse for customer delivery; new arrival items ordering etc

o    Selects space and prepare stock for storage, and place material in designated area

-          Performs housekeeping duties

o    Keep all work areas neat and tidy

o    Keep all document / stationary / catalogue within counter area organized at all times

o    Keep stock in storage in orderly manner with clear identification

o    Secures stock from destruction, abuse, fire and theft

-          Conducts periodic physical inventory of stocked items

o    Performs daily/ weekly cycle count instructed by the office

o    Conducts stock-taking once/twice in a year

-          Any other tasks may be assigned as needed

 

Key Performance indicators

-          Achieve monthly/ annual sales targets

-          Fulfill internal / external customer requirement

-          Satisfaction Customer Services

-          Minimize cost & loses and maximize sales

 

Core competencies

-          F.5 or above

-          1 year working in a retail service or customer services environment is preferable

-          Able to work effectively under pressure

-          Able to read and speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin

-          Must be punctual, polite, honest and strong sense of responsibility

-          Work on weekends and public holidays
