Primary responsibilities:

• Process general accounting duties including cheque payments, daily accounting operations, vouchers checking and inter-company accounts reconciliation;
• Maintain daily cash flow report;
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements; Prepare monthly financial statements of various Group companies on an entity level, and any related accounting schedules;
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the annual independent audit exercise including preparing the draft audited financial statements and following through thereafter until the audited financial statements are executed by the auditors;
• Assist in company secretary works;
• Responsible for checking and processing expenses reimbursement claims and handle petty cash;
• Assist and support other staff as and when necessary and appropriate; and
• Handle any other relevant responsibilities and/or functions of the Group, as assigned from time to time.
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, ability, and/or personal attributes required to be successful in the role:

• Diploma holder in accounting or business administration or related disciplines with a minimum qualification of LCCI Level 3 or equivalent;
• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience;
• Familiar with computer applications particularly Excel, Words, Chinese word processing, and accounting software such as Quickbook;
• With strong sense of responsibility and able to meet tight deadline with high accuracy;
• Excellent command of both English and Chinese, both oral (including Putonghua in the latter case) and in writing, is a pre-requisite;
• Strong ethics, integrity, and credibility;
• Discreet and good judgment in handling/responding to confidential and sensitive information;
• Organized, reliable, effective and efficient;
• Mature, results oriented with international mindset and strong personal drive to take initiative and get things done;
• Good presentation skill;
• Immediate availability is preferred
