Legal Advisor

Job Duties:

• Coordinate closely with business team relating to legal matter about fund investment
• Advise on a range of investment products including SFC authorized fund, UCITs fund, MPFA approved pooled investment fund and private fund, etc.
• Involve in drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of legal documents such as fund set up documents, investment management agreements, ISDA, securities lending agreements, distribution agreements, service providers’ mandates, placing agreements, subscription agreements, confidentiality agreements, joint venture agreements, IT agreements, trademark and other intellectual property licenses, etc.
• Provide ad hoc legal research and advice

Requirements:

• A Hong Kong qualified lawyer with degree in Law discipline
• Minimum 5 PQE years of fund experience gained in asset management organizations, financial institutions or law firms
• Solid knowledge and experience in SFC authorized and unauthorized funds
• Proactive, independent and a good team player
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
• Ability to read simplified Chinese characters 
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel 
• Fluent in written & spoken English & Chinese
