As Trading Assistant, you will work directly with a small team of experienced and dedicated portfolio managers and provide support and assistance across all areas of the business.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high calibre buy-side investment trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Trade capture
• Query resolution
• Production of key desk analytics e.g. Risk, P&L
• Liaison with middle / back office
• Liaison with prime brokers and other third parties
• Develop initiatives to enhance trade life-cycle and operating efficiency
• Corporate actions monitoring and forecasting
• Stock borrow and loan monitoring
• Portfolio financing calculation
• Commission monitoring

 Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a finance or related environment e.g. bank, hedge fund, asset manager, fin-tech etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of financial products and various markets requirements
• Knowledge of Listed and/or OTC derivatives preferable
• Methodical with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a demanding, high-pressure environment
• Able to prioritize workload and be well-organized
• Detail-orientated and quick thinking
